The Principles I Live By. And Not Just Sort Of A Requirement.

This was our last submission for our NSTP 2 class last semester. And I think I did great, he he. I passed the subject!
Enjoy!

30 Principles I Live By
1. Where there is no sacrifice many things are being compromised. We may be doing the good thing yet the RIGHT thing is being neglected.

2. Laughter is NOT the best medicine, it's the inner peace that lingers on our soul. Laughter is nothing but physical, but the overflow of the heart's condition results to physical action.

3. It's not who you have invited, it's those who will stay.

4. Other people's heart is not our heart. We lessen our expectations with them 'cause their standards are not always the same with us. Having reminded of this always is being able to cope up with agitation.

5. Christianity is not for the sake of human convenience. That's why there are many who believe and still don't. Not till they find time to do so.

6. When nothing is good God is.

7. It's not always about the impression, it's the lasting of your identification.

8. When nobody cares, it's the more reason that you have to care about yourself. If they cannot, who else can?

9. The best thing in following is being followed back. And what makes it wonderful is when following means trusting.

10. Many things I am able to learn, but only few things I must do. Not everything that we learn is good.

12. We do not love to have what we want & to look for something we could get. If that is so, that's lust. That's without purpose at all. The perfect example for true love: the One who love even if He knew in the end, He'd shed blood.

13. Conquering starts when you get out of bed.

14. It's a lot of faith that we're able to do everything. And in doing nothing, it only takes a lack of faith.

15. To stand for something is good. It's integrity. But to stand in the gap is better. It brings unity. Jesus did not just become the "holy-man"-Son-of-God, He unites people to God so we'll be in one body. That is, the body of Christ.

16. Being conceited will kill you. Imagine having to think about yourself all the time, it will surely kill you.

17. You cannot ask for the temptation to get out of you. Get yourself out of the temptation.

18. Be the voice of God, and not an echo of someone else's. Not even of yourself.

19. I'm like a tocino: processed to be preserved.

20. Having fun doesn't have to include sinning. And beauty does not require impurity.

21. Knowing your enemy is winning half of the battle.

22. An ideal relationship must be like that of a kite than that of a ship and its anchor. Like a kite, though a string is attached someone is holding it so that it would not get tangled with the kite. Not like in a ship, an anchor is pulling the ship down by its weight with no one to guide it.

23. Make yourself worthy of great things before you ask of an even greater one. High sentiments requires higher sacrifices.

24. No one should stop you from doing the things that participates to your growth and success as a person. As no one can stop you from living.

25. If I have overcome today why not overcome again tomorrow, and to the next day, and to the next?

26. If you have taken an effort only to know it's wrong why not take an equal & greater effort to make it right?

27. To the fire you got dazzled, to fire you get burned. Fire is not limited to what it can consume. It consumes everything.

28. Do not be a prostitute! Selling yourself in the name of pleasure & covetousness.

29. When you commit something to someone it's opening a door for that person to affect everything that you have committed, not one thing will be missed. Commitment is not a statement, it's an engagement.

30. A pure heart is a heart that does not waver. That... is conviction.

The Disclaimer Thingy:
Some of this are not actually my own. But must I learn a principle to live by all by myself?
